The hardest part of every achievement is the last 20% of the task.

First, you come up with a great goal – like buying and selling U.S. real estate. Then, you get excited and start putting your plan into action. And finally, if you are like most people, you become bored and decide to “take a break”. WRONG! This is where you go from achiever to dreamer. If you try and you fail, you get back on the horse with new-found determination and lessons in your back pocket. Don’t just tell yourself, ‘Oh, I should try something else’ or ‘Yes, I am satisfied’ – push yourself to achieve your goals and you will develop those habits to continuously foster success.

Do The Opposite of the Other 99%.

When everyone is going one way, you’re guaranteed to be successful going the other way. Every single time I find myself finding excuses NOT to do something, procrastinating, or convincing myself something is irrelevant to my end goal, (well one TV show won’t hurt me, I worked hard today…) I always pause, realize my thoughts, and tell myself: “that’s what a regular person would do and I’m not regular”. You have to understand, only 1% of the world is successful! When you do what 99% of the people typically – stop, realize it, and do the opposite.

You’ll have plenty of time to rest, relax and sleep in your grave.

What you need to do is really be aware of your decision-making patterns.

Make the decision: do you want to be like everyone else or like the 1%?  Remember, life is easy in the 99% world because you don’t have to be accountable to yourself constantly.

On the other hand, in the 1% world, everything you do, every moment you have awake, you should be getting you closer to your end-goal.

So  develop the habit of always asking yourself, “is what I’m currently doing getting me closer to my goal, or am I just keeping busy?”

Trust me, you won’t be disappointed with your results.
